Born in Rotterdam (the Netherlands) in 1962.
Lives and works in Rotterdam. Wendelien van Oldenborgh studied at Goldsmith College and at the Ecole nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris. She later collaborated on the creation of the NICC, an initiative of artists based in Anvers. In order to produce her projects she develops complex structures of collaboration and uses cinema as an operational methodology that generates the development of relations and allows different voices to resonate. She concentrates on minor gestures and actions with the objective of representing more generic social conditions.
