Home for 12-year-old Naomy is the so-called slum area of Rio's Vila Autódromo, where everything she loves is being ripped apart to make way for the 2016 Olympic Park. Naomy's wide eyes take in everything, from the cynical, illegal eviction efforts of the Brazilian authorities to her her community's refusal to go quietly. As the young girl comes of age, in a struggle too familiar to South Africans, Naomy musters the strength of her father, swearing to fight to the end.
