Dieter Reifarth is a producer and editor. He is known for "Der Koffer" (1992), "Der Hof / La Cour de Joe Ouakam", 2012, codirected with Viktoria Schmidt-Linsenhoff), "Haus Tugendhat" (2013) and "Bildstriche" (2010).

Born in 1951 in Hadamar. He was the programmer and director of the film archive in the Community Cinema and Dt. Filmmuseum, Frankfurt assistant and researcher at Marcel Ophuls for LES TOMBES DU PRESIDENT, HOTEL TERMINUS, NOVEMBER DAYS. His previous directorial work includes BUCHER, WIE WERDE ICH DEMOKRAT, BILDSTRICHE, PETOTA. He served as producer for many films, most notably for Vlado Kristl, Peter Nestler, Jean-Marie Straub / Danièle Huillet, Klaus Wildenhahn, Dore O. Gunter Deller, Gabriele Schwark, Bernhard Sallmannsberg, Stanislaw Mucha. The productions have received five times the Hessian Film Award, Grimme Award, multiple German Film Awards among others.
