Diack conduit sa voiture mais tombe en panne. Arrivent alors de jeunes apprentis garagistes qui l'aident à pousser son véhicule jusqu'à leur garage. Pour mettre Diack en confiance, le patron demande aux enfants de veiller sur la voiture. Diack découvre pendant ce temps la vie de ce quartier d'artisans.
