Sabine went back to Belgium illegally. Her migratory journey began in Cameroon in recruitment agencies for cleaning women in Lebanon. After a stay in Lebanon where she is reduced to quasi slavery, she leaves this country for Syria, Greece, and finally arrives in Belgium.

Today, as the manager of a "Jolie coiffure" salon, Sabine gives work to the other young girls who arrive, waiting for her situation to be regularized.
Welcoming, smiling, cheerful, Sabine and the girls work 13 to 14 hours a day on their feet and non-stop. In this 8m2 salon, Sabine structures the workload, giving tasks to the other hairdressers. At the same time, she talks to her clients, advises and finds solutions for their hair problems or more personal problems. At the same time, the police patrol with their dogs and organize raids in the neighborhood to randomly pick up a few undocumented migrants. Sabine and the other hairdressers bravely face the gaze of tourists of all ages who look at and photograph these women like objects in a shop window and take us back to a whole colonial and post-colonial history.
